Music’s “Other” Hot Women

When most people think of beautiful women in the music industry, such names as Beyonce, Shakira, and Jessica Simpson often come to mind.  While I doubt there’s anyone out there that disagrees with the fact that these ladies are insanely hot, there are a few women in the music industry who are often over looked in the hotness department.  This may be attributed to the fact that these ladies don’t quite have the album sales in the United States as those last three I mentioned.  None the less, I’m writing this post to point out that there are a few women in music who are hot in their own ways (I think there’s different classifications of hotness), but are often overlooked by the media.  Read on to find out who these hotties are:

My Home Theater Setup

You’ve probably noticed already that I like to watch a lot of movies and review them.  Often times though, movie reviewers will leave out one of the most critical facts that pertains to all of their reviews which is what type of setup they have.  Since I like to speak about DVD quality and sound, it should be only fair that I share my current home theater setup with the readers of this site.  So let me present to you, my home theater setup through a series of pictures and explanations.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale Review (with video)

For the first time ever, I’m actually reviewing a beer that’s very popular.  Here we have Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, which is actually the second highest "craft beer" sold in the United States.  This one is so popular that Sierra Nevada brewery had to drop the name of a "micro-brew" to a "craft brew" due to the high sales.  Often times I’m not a fan of ultra popular brews, due to the fact that most of them suck.  Not to mention that I’m not a fan of pale ales in general due to hop overload.  This one already raises some questions going into the review, so read on and see how this American favorite fairs:

Blind Man Sees From a Tooth In His Eye, Apple To Create iTooth?

I happened to stumble upon an article about an blind Irish man who had his site restored by some amazing English doctors.  However, this apparently was no ordinary procedure, oh no.  The man’s sight was restored not with a camera, not by restoring tissue, and not by other technological methods, but by rather by having a fucking tooth shoved into his eye.  Here’s an excerpt from the article:

"The technique, pioneered in Italy in the 1960s, involves creating a support for an artificial cornea from the patient’s own tooth and the surrounding bone.

The procedure used on McNichol involved his son Robert, 23, donating a tooth, its root and part of the jaw.

McNichol’s right eye socket was rebuilt, part of the tooth inserted and a lens inserted in a hole drilled in the tooth."

That’s pretty amazing I must say, but there’s something I’ve uncovered that’s even more intriguing.  Rumor has it  that Apple is getting in the action and releasing its own version of this, only its a bit more technically advanced.  Here is a picture of an early prototype that’s currently in development:

Barack Obama’s Dark Secret – He Isn’t a Muslim, He’s An Oompa Loompa

Today on The Drudge Report, a photo leaked of presidential candidate Barack Obama seen in traditional Somali attire (pictured below).  Rumors have it that this was "leaked" by someone in the Clinton campaign as a last minute smear to provoke once again the, "ZOMG BARACK HUSSEIN OSAMA IS MUSLIM" garbage that has been floating around since those smear e-mails were released a few months ago.  Despite the fact that the photo was nothing more than an excerpt of Obama from his 2007 DVD "Senator Obama Goes To Africa", most Americans out of the loop (or just most American’s that have shit where there brains should be) may think this is another possible Islamic connection.

I however, know that there is something even more sinister abound.  Here at Miscellaneous Garbage, I strive always try to look beneath the surface to see things as they really are.  Here is the photo posted on Drudge:

Evil Dead – Ultimate Edition Review

In 1978, a young college filmmaker named Sam Raimi shot a short film entitled "Within The Woods" with a group of friends.  This film featured four friends renting a cabin in the woods only to have their friendly excursion become host to a little supernatural possession.  Within The Woods would become to the precursor to one of the most widely known and revered horror films of all time, The Evil Dead.  Following a similar plot to the student film before it, The Evil Dead brought a relentless amount of shocking imagery and gore-soaked scenes to audiences across the world and would quickly develop one of the largest cult followings in movie history.  Here’s the review of the latest edition (among many releases of the same film currently available) of The Evil Dead from Anchor Bay Entertainment:

Jim Ross’s “My Ass” Rap

I’ve been a fan of pro wrestling for as pretty much as long as I can remember.  Whether it was watching Hulk Hogan as a kid, or watching Steve Austin as a teen, I always got a kick out of the goofy antics in the circus world of wrestling.  There were always so many different personalities, each of which was always over the top.  Within the past couple of years though, there hasn’t been a whole lot to keep my interest, and I can’t remember the time where I watched a wrestling show from start to finish.

Anyway, these next series of videos are a spoof of perhaps the greatest professional wrestling announcer ever, Jim Ross.  He’s been on our television sets every Monday night for almost an entire decade, and he’s been known as "Good Ol’ J.R."  These two videos take a bunch of clips from the WWE Smackdown video game series and mix them up into a hilarious rap song by Ross.  There’s two videos, and the second is easily the better of the two so I’m posting it first.  Check it out:

Cops Versus Skateboarders – Greatest Hits

Recently, a video has popped up on the internet showing a Baltimore cop assaulting, harassing, and belittling a 14 year boy for riding a skateboard and calling him "dude".  Upon watching this video, I was sickened by the officer’s actions, and perhaps even more sickened by the fact that this fiasco got him suspended WITH pay.  A slap on the wrist for slapping around a minor sounds really fair, let me tell ya.  Anyway, this isn’t the first time skateboarders have been harassed by police officers while on video.  Luckily with the invention of Youtube we can see authority figures with anger issues push around young kids riding pieces of wood to their very hearts content!

I should preface this by saying that I’m not a skateboarder of any kind.  I’ve never tried to skateboard, nor do I want to, and I don’t associate myself with that culture.  Remember you were a kid and you took your bike everywhere with your buddies?   I don’t really recall cops kicking your ass for doing that.  I guess it’s just a different day and age, but I digress.  Let me present to you my "favorite" displays of cops (or security guards/rent-a-cops) punking out kids for skateboarding with actual retarded Youtube comments!

The Only Ticket That Matters In 2008

Lately, all you hear in the media is the presidential election.  I’m sure you’ve heard all the lines, all the smears, and all the one-liners from Obama, McCain, Paul, and Clinton by now.  But who can you be sure to vote for?  People say that Hillary is looking to sell America out to corporations, Obama has no real political experience, McCain is "Bush-Lite", and Paul is just plain batshit crazy.  With all this talk, who can people vote for?  Well America, you’re in luck because 2008 is the year for change.  If you want security, if you want freedom, and if you want the terrorists tapping out to the Figure Four, there’s only one ticket that matters:

Chuck Norris and Ric Flair for president
