So I was eating at Subway and immediately noticed the life size cardboard cut out off Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle. Now I find card board cut outs to be quite creepy in general, especially when they feature an overly happy man peddling sandwiches to you while grinning ear to ear. But I guess to the normal American, Jared is part of popular culture somehow, and this particular cardboard cutout doesn’t look so threatening:
What better way to celebrate Easter than with a review of a horror film about killer rats? Here we have the film Mulberry Street, which is part of 2007’s After Dark Horrorfest. For those of you that aren’t familiar with the After Dark Horrorfest, it’s an annual "festival" of eight independent horror films that are grouped together and shown in one theater that’s put together by Lionsgate. They had their first one in 2006 and the success of their DVD sales prompted this batch of "8 Films To Die For". As for this particular film, there was some buzz going around that it was the best of the bunch in 2007, and it even graced the cover of Rue Morgue Magazine. Let’s see if the buzz this film has been generating has been worthwhile:
Ah, it’s been awhile since I’ve updated. Lately I’ve been building my new PC which is a complete monster, and I’ll be sure to make a post about it as soon as it’s up and running. In the mean time, here’s a hilarious video.

I’m sure you’ve heard it all over the news. New York Governor Elliot Spitzer was involved with a prostitution ring which lead to his eventual resigning. What was even more shocking is that he was a Democrat. After all, it wouldn’t really have been big news if he was a Republican because the media has to be tired of their sex scandals by now (to my surprise, I don’t see good old Larry "I’m not gay, I swear, no seriously dude, I’m NOT GAY" Craig on that list).
Anyway, it turns out that Spitzer’s call girl of choice goes by the name of Ashley Alexander Dupree and she’s actually pretty hot, but not $5,000 per session hot. In fact, one photo of her looks like exactly like WWE wrestler Matt Hardy:

When most people think of beautiful women in the music industry, such names as Beyonce, Shakira, and Jessica Simpson often come to mind. While I doubt there’s anyone out there that disagrees with the fact that these ladies are insanely hot, there are a few women in the music industry who are often over looked in the hotness department. This may be attributed to the fact that these ladies don’t quite have the album sales in the United States as those last three I mentioned. None the less, I’m writing this post to point out that there are a few women in music who are hot in their own ways (I think there’s different classifications of hotness), but are often overlooked by the media. You’ve probably noticed already that I like to watch a lot of movies and review them. Often times though, movie reviewers will leave out one of the most critical facts that pertains to all of their reviews which is what type of setup they have. Since I like to speak about DVD quality and sound, it should be only fair that I share my current home theater setup with the readers of this site. For the first time ever, I’m actually reviewing a beer that’s very popular. Here we have Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, which is actually the second highest "craft beer" sold in the United States. This one is so popular that Sierra Nevada brewery had to drop the name of a "micro-brew" to a "craft brew" due to the high sales. Often times I’m not a fan of ultra popular brews, due to the fact that most of them suck. Not to mention that I’m not a fan of pale ales in general due to hop overload. This one already raises some questions going into the review, so read on and see how this American favorite fairs:
I happened to stumble upon an article about an blind Irish man who had his site restored by some amazing English doctors. However, this apparently was no ordinary procedure, oh no. The man’s sight was restored not with a camera, not by restoring tissue, and not by other technological methods, but by rather by having a fucking tooth shoved into his eye. Here’s an excerpt from the article:
"The technique, pioneered in Italy in the 1960s, involves creating a support for an artificial cornea from the patient’s own tooth and the surrounding bone.
The procedure used on McNichol involved his son Robert, 23, donating a tooth, its root and part of the jaw.
McNichol’s right eye socket was rebuilt, part of the tooth inserted and a lens inserted in a hole drilled in the tooth."
That’s pretty amazing I must say, but there’s something I’ve uncovered that’s even more intriguing. Rumor has it that Apple is getting in the action and releasing its own version of this, only its a bit more technically advanced. Today on The Drudge Report, a photo leaked of presidential candidate Barack Obama seen in traditional Somali attire (pictured below). Rumors have it that this was "leaked" by someone in the Clinton campaign as a last minute smear to provoke once again the, "ZOMG BARACK HUSSEIN OSAMA IS MUSLIM" garbage that has been floating around since those smear e-mails were released a few months ago. Despite the fact that the photo was nothing more than an excerpt of Obama from his 2007 DVD "Senator Obama Goes To Africa", most Americans out of the loop (or just most American’s that have shit where there brains should be) may think this is another possible Islamic connection.
I however, know that there is something even more sinister abound. Here at Miscellaneous Garbage, I strive always try to look beneath the surface to see things as they really are. Here is the photo posted on Drudge:
