So you liked our cheesy, rock n’ roll horror fest “BLACK ROSES, huh? I worked on that film as a boom operator (sound) and I had a small part in it at the beginning. I played the crazed, brainwashed theatre usher watching the band through the theater door windows. Then some Joe Blow official walks in and says: I’ve got a court order to shut you down”. And then they drag me away screaming “No…no…no.. That all happens before the opening credits. How’s that for a piece of retro-trivia?

I lived through the 80’s a teen – and don’t remember this, hmmm, wonder why? I loved the big hair bands and horror flicks too, and can’t for the life of me figure out how this passed under my radar! Hilarious review!

I hardly remember the 80’s as I was only 6 when they came and went…but what I do remember of it was the hair and brightly colored clothing. This movie looks like a pretty funny 80’s flick. I’ll be sure to check it out.
