You’ve probably noticed already that I like to watch a lot of movies and review them. Often times though, movie reviewers will leave out one of the most critical facts that pertains to all of their reviews which is what type of setup they have. Since I like to speak about DVD quality and sound, it should be only fair that I share my current home theater setup with the readers of this site. So let me present to you, my home theater setup through a series of pictures and explanations.
Here’s a shot of my main setup as you may be able to see, I have the following:
- Sharp Aquos 42" 1080p LCD TV
- 650 Watt Yamaha 5.1 surround sound
- 130 Watt Yamaha sub woofer (which is tucked away near the bottom right of the TV)
- Two Guitar Hero PS2 controllers. Fuck yes.
Here’s an opposite shot of my TV room with the seating arrangements. Here you’ll see:
- My fluffy couch that I like to pass out on
- My leather chair that which only my cat uses
- Various Asian decorations
Here’s a close up of what I’m packing "under the hood" so to speak:
- 80 GB Playstation 3
- LG DN191H upconverting DVD player. I use for playing other region and PAL discs and it also upcoverts them.
- My Yamaha receiver
- Random PS3 games and DVDs
So now you know what I’m packing. Well, in the home theater department anyway. You damn perverts.
